Phoenix, AZ (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - The Phoenix Suns named Lance Blanks the new
general manager on Thursday.

as our general manager," said Suns president of basketball operations Lon

Blanks brings playing experience and a 10-year track record in the front
offices of Cleveland and San Antonio to the Valley of the Sun. He was vice
president of basketball operations and assistant general manager for the
Cavaliers for the last five seasons.
Selected with the 26th overall pick in the 1990 NBA Draft by the Detroit Pistons, Blank played two seasons in the Motor City and one with the Minnesota Timberwolves.
